Up to 80% of 18-year-olds in the Netherlands have at least one cavity.
Tooth decay, or caries, is a disease that is related to lifestyle factors. It's caused by bacteria that are present in everyone's mouth.
Fortunately, cavities can be prevented with the right knowledge, care, attention and behaviour change. That's why our program brings together young families, dental care providers, nutrition and lifestyle coaches, schools, daycare centres, and more with one goal in mind: to ensure that 80% of 18-year-old in the Netherlands are caries-free!

We have a mission
80% 18 year old, cavities free
We do not rely on technical repair, but on breaking through ingrained patterns. This is not an easy mission: only using the latest technological innovation and a drastically different working method is not enough.
With this prevention-oriented oral care at home, we connect young families with prevention-passionate oral care providers. Lifestyle coaches, primary school teachers, dietitians and scientists (dental/developmental psychology) also have a role to play. We will appoint responsibilities, reduce bacterial pressure in a targeted manner and support and reward this good behaviour (digitally).
This mission cannot succeed without proactive volunteers and super specialists. In short, we also need you to give this the targeted and effective attention it deserves in the Netherlands.

What we do
Oral care providers at home
Get started with prevention when it suits me
With this prevention-oriented child-friendly oral care, we connect children, parents and schools with passionate dental hygienists, dentists, lifestyle coaches, dieticians and scientists (dental/developmental psychology). Together we will appoint responsibilities, reduce dental burdens and (digitally) support and reward good behavior.
But more is needed, we won't get there without proactive Volunteers, (local) financiers, super specialists and insurers.

You provide prevention advice in the chair. That's where it often stops. Dentis@Home supports you and many other stakeholders like nutrition coaches, orthodontists, lifestyle coaches) your patients in the chair ánd at home.
You can get started online with Dentis@Home, always at a time that suits you.
